Evan Spiegel — Disruptor Awards

Evan Spiegel is an Internet entrepreneur who is the co-founder and CEO of the mobile application Snapchat. While studying product design at Stanford, he proposed Snapchat as a class project and in 2012, left to focus on Snapchat shortly before completing his degree. He co-founded the mobile application along with Robert Murphy and Reggie Brown. While a student, he also worked as a paid intern for a biomedical company, as an intern in sales at Red Bull, as a careers instructor in Cape Town, South Africa, and at Intuit on the TxtWed project.
