Katrina is the CEO of eva8, a high impact and human-centric HR solutions company with a focus on emerging small to mid-sized organizations in several industries including Consumer Products, Motion Picture, Professional Sports, eCommerce, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and more.

After working directly with entrepreneurs and C-suite executives for more than 10 years, Katrina recognized the People Management and Engagement gaps that plagued organizations from thriving.  An entrepreneur herself, she has played a key role in consulting several businesses from start-up to successful exits by supporting the essential functions of leadership, key personnel recruitment, employment infrastructure, and creating a culture that is engaged to win. Her vision to create a productive, healthy, and safe workplace for all was the inspiration behind eva8 - where employers are being educated, processes are being implemented for growth, and companies are creating meaningful connections with their employees.

In order to obtain buy-in from Founders, eva8 launched the sub-brand "HR Sucks" and the HR Sucks Podcast as a campaign strategy to get people excited about HR and eliminate the connotation that has plagued the discipline for decades.

Katrina attributes her passion for people to coaching high school girls basketball and 5 seasons of being a high school and college basketball official. She joined an all-girls high school that struggled to find girls to try out for the team previous years and turned the program into League Champions in her 2nd season, resulting in receiving the Coach of the Year award.

In 2019 she joined the Advisory Board for another disruptive start-up, The Professional Collegiate League. The "PCL" is on a mission to be the first college basketball league to pay players a complete total rewards package consisting of a livable salary, medical benefits, 401k, and additional supplemental programs to elevate a demographic of adults that have been historically and purposely left out of the working force.
