Suzanne is a PR professional with +15 years of experience shaping communications strategies and leading teams domestically and internationally. Suzanne spent the first +10 years of her career as a Foreign Service Officer, shaping public diplomacy engagement in line with U.S. national security objectives and serving as a spokesperson on behalf of the US Department of State in Washington, D.C., and at Embassies throughout Europe, Latin America, and North Africa. Suzanne transitioned to the private sector in 2013 when she started at Yahoo following her passion for technology and impact at scale and worked her way up to leading corporate communications for the company. At the time of Yahoo’s sale to Verizon in June 2017, Suzanne became Vice President, Corporate Communications at Oath, the newly formed company resulting from the mergers of Yahoo and AOL within the Verizon family.

In addition to her work in public diplomacy and communications, Suzanne was an associate professor at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, and has guest lectured at Yale, American University, and George Washington University. She speaks French and Spanish, and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Suzanne has a B.A. from Binghamton University and an M.A. from Georgetown University. She is married with four children and lives in Denver, Colorado.
