Pradeep Sharma, PhD — Disruptor Awards

Dr. Pradeep Sharma is the Provost at Rhode Island School of Design. He joined RISD from Bath School of Art and Design, UK where he was Dean of Art and Design. Originally trained in the engineering sciences, he focused on fiber optics and lasers in the early days of telecommunication before retraining as an industrial designer. With international experience as a product designer and brand strategist he is also an academic researching creative cultures and creative actions. He has worked for the New Zealand and UK governments promoting the role of design in business. He has a doctorate in complexity management and speaks and writes about creativity and innovation in everyday life.
